Alok Bhide is the Founder and Director of Capital Sports Pte. Ltd, a premier sports organization based in Singapore. A former ATP and ITF ranked tennis player, Alok’s journey in tennis spans national and international acclaim with competitive playing experience in USA, Egypt, Thailand, Singapore, India and Sri Lanka. He earned a prestigious Athletic and Academic Scholarship to study in the United States, where he competed as a NCAA student-athlete while pursuing a degree in Finance. Demonstrating excellence both on and off the court, he received the Scholar Award and achieved Dean’s List honours in his final semester while graduating with a degree in Finance. Further on, he proceeded to earn his Diploma in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
With international coaching experience in USA, India, and Singapore, Alok has contributed significantly to tennis development across these regions. In Singapore, he has won the Pesta Sukan (Singapore Sports Festival) and ActiveSG tennis competitions and served as a practice partner for top women players during the WTA Finals in Singapore 2018.
As a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) Certified Coach, Alok has dedicated himself to mentoring players who have gone on to attain remarkable success not only in the sport but also in their personal and professional lives. Alok’s coaching philosophy centres on character development as the foundation for athletic and personal growth, emphasizing integrity, discipline, and resilience before technical skills. Through Capital Sports, he continues to nurture the next generation of athletes, fostering excellence and holistic development.
